Golf on the 4th, Baby Ellie on the 7th

We went to dinner at The Mandarin (i think that's what it's called) in Bountiful with my family the other night. This is us during our 45 minute wait in our matching clothes-and no we didn't plan it but they would have been cute engagement picture outfits. ha ha. And if Kristi or Candace were there they would have said, "chin down." ha ha. I guess that's the cheerleader coming out in me.

Cute shoe-socks Kristi bought for baby Ellie!
Just a few hours after she was born! I guess baby Ellie was sick of all the pictures. Ha ha. Shalise looked so awesome after just having a baby, I hope I look that good when my time comes around! Thanks Shalise for letting me come visit before I have to leave again :(
I love how close my friends from high school are! I love them all and I'm so glad we still make time for each other!
Drew and I were really bored on the afternoon of the 4th and we wanted to get out and do something so we went and hit a (HUGE) bucket of balls and then played our own little round of mini golf on the green behind us in this picture.
These pictures are actually in backwards order, he hit the ball and a split second later it was on the grass right in front of him. The ball had gone straight up and hit the bowery thing above us and that's why he's laughing. That wasn't the first time that happened either!

We also had a fun little bbq at my mom's house that night then went to the Clearfield fireworks with Drew's parents. It's been so great being so close to family and friends! I can't say I'm excited to move back to Cedar City but in a way I am. But I know when we do move down we'll be wishing we were right back up surrounded by family and friends again. Lucky for us, we've got great Cedar friends too!

LoNg PoSt!!

Our second camping trip was to Washington Lake in the Uintah's, it was really really cold but fun too! We thought we'd get a little fishing in before we left so Drew and I dropped my brother Shayden off on a rock in the middle of the lake to fly fish. He was only catching the brookies.
Our dog Bella wasn't loving the canoe ride, she was crying the whole time so I got off on the shore with her and we played in the snow-YES, I said snow! She loved running through it. Drew didn't have any luck fishing either and I gave up after my line got all tangled and I had nobody there to help me besides a spastic dog. Ha ha.
For breakfast the last day we had these little boxes of cereal, bagels, or fruit and yogurt. Drew chose all of the above so I thought I'd take a picture. His football coaches are dying for him to gain weight so he's trying as much as his lightning speed metabolism will let him. He ate all those cereals he's holding, 1 and a half bagels LOADED with cream cheese, and a big bowl full of fruit. I thought it was pretty funny!
Drew was carrying Kate and dancing down the stairs to our seats but you can't tell he's dancing in this picture.
A few cute Willards :) Alissa and Kate
We went to Tuacahn in St. George a few weeks ago. We saw Footloose, which was pretty good! Except it really bugged that the girl was taller than the guy. He was a midget. But it was a fun little getaway, we swam right before, went to the play, and hit up a little late night Beto's before hittin the hay.
It was kinda hot, which explains the big shine on my face! It rained for few minutes here and there but it was nice cuz it cooled us off! Thanks Willards for taking us down there!
This was our first camping trip of the summer and it was SO FUN! We went with some of my very best friends and we just played the whole time.

Me and Shalise telling Jessica about a funny story that happened when we got up there. Remember that Shalise? Ha ha, good times!
That handgun Clay and Kristi brought was a loud sucker. Photo Op ;) Me and my honey! I love this guy, he puts up with so much of my crap and still loves me the same. What a fun person to be around. I don't have any pictures of it but after we got all packed up and ready to cook our hobo dinners it started to downpour and hail and everything, it was terrible. But Drew, being the person that he is, wasn't gonna let a little (actually a ton!) of water get in his way. He cooked everyone's hobo dinners while we all hid for cover. Thanks honey, you're awesome.

Wicked!

Last Saturday I was lucky enough to go to the Broadway play, "Wicked" with the Willard girls. It was one of our Christmas presents and we've been waiting not so patiently for April 25th to come. It was seriously the best show I have ever seen, I don't know if I ever looked away from the stage. They were amazing and I would love, love, love to see it again!

While we were at that, Drew was playing in his spring football game where they split the team into red and white and he played really well! He sacked the quarterback a few times and intercepted a pass with a minute left in the game and they won 13-12. I was so proud of him but so sad I couldn't be there to watch. Now we're up North living in Roy for a few months and it's great. I love being so close to family :)

Easter Sunday!

This is my family on Easter Sunday. After church and a big, long nap we all went out back and enjoyed our Easter Egg hunt!

We had a few Easter Egg wars. That's me pelting my brother, Shayden.

My mom looks really springish, I can't believe she still went along with giving us an easter egg hunt! Bella is so big now, she loved going after all the colorful eggs and even got into the chocolate in my mom's closet before she had stuffed the eggs. She loves chocolate! Ha ha oops.

Whitney's basket got a little too full and it broke.

Tawny's happy with her Easter basket too!

After the Easter Egg hunt, Drew's family came over to my mom's house for our Easter dinner. It was so nice to not have to decide which family we'd go with. Our families are good friends so it's so great when we can all be together like that. We love our families and we are so happy when we can spend time with them! Summer is just around the corner and we can't wait to be back in Roy with them all again!

I know these aren't all lined up next to their pictures but I struggle with that. I've deleted the pictures twice now and I don't want that to happen again so use your imagination :)

New Post! New Post!!

I don't have any pictures to put up :( but I will say Drew and I have had a fun time lately! We went home for Spring Break and spent some good time with our families and friends. I got to see my friends and catch up with them and that was awesome, I love you all! I got my wedding ring fixed so that diamond doesn't slide out (yikes!), I got my hair cut to my chin by one of my good friend Shari and I love it. Drew has been begging me to cut it lately because I've had short hair up until like two years ago and he missed it. Ha ha. He got to play in an alumni basketball game, which I'm not quite sure if he liked, but it was a blast from the past watching him play basketball again at good old Roy High (he he). Best of all, our jeep is finally fixed! Drew and his dad worked on that thing like crazy last week and it's running! In case any of you don't know it's been broken since we tried to drive it home after our Christmas break so this is great news. We had to leave it up there because his dad has a few finishing touches on it but we are so excited! Specially Drew, that thing is his second love.
Drew had his second outside football practice of the year yesterday and he sprained his ankle pretty bad so he's not too happy about that. Other than that we're just loving life and waiting waiting waiting for the semester to get over! And for that darn warm weather to get here.

CyD's 22nD BirThDay!

I was so lucky this year because I got to have a birthday weekend! Not just a day. My mom and two of my sisters came down to Cedar to celebrate with Drew and I and we just played, played, played. They got here Friday night and we went to dinner at Winger's and got some huge asphalt pie...yum!! Then Saturday we headed down to warm St. George and went to the Fiesta Fun Center. I was dying to hit at the batting cages so we all had a few go's at it. After that we raced the go-carts, I took last place but that's only because Tawny and Whit sabotaged me and we wrecked on like the last lap..AH! But it was really fun! Then we shopped for a while at the strip mall. I got a pink can opener :) and some other fun kitchen things and some cute springy clothes. Oh, we can't forget the awesome yellow purse!!
We all worked up a big appetite and ended up at the good old Olive Garden. Like always it was yummy, then we went back to Cedar and played cards all night! Sunday was my birthday and we went to church, ate some yummy food my wonderful mom cooked, then had to say bye to the family. It was a lot of fun! We had a good old time. I love my family so much! They all are the greatest.

So on Saturday Drew and I decided to finally re-finish a dresser we bought at the DI for $45 dollars. It was an ugly yellow and brown color and I'd have to say, after lots and lots of work we made it beautiful and finally, after being married for 6 months...we have a dresser! It was a lot of work but lucky for me Drewby did most of it. I love him :) He's my sweet little valentine. Ha ha.
